Please note that, due to the layout of the engine bay in the Freelander, the 4th plug can only be replaced after removal of the diesel injection pump. As a result, many people only swap the first 3 plugs, which normally gives sufficient improvement in cold starting performance. If you are unable to, or would prefer to avoid removing the injection pump, you can find a 3 pack listed in our store, saving the unnecessary cost of the 4th plug.

4 x GENUINE NGK 2273 / Y-730U glow plugs for the 1997 to 2000 model Land Rover Freelander.
If your Freelander is difficult to start on very cold mornings, or smokes excessively after starting, the chances are that your glow plugs need renewing.

Suitable for the L series diesel fitted to the Di and XEDi diesel Freelander models (Perkins Prima derived engine). Not suitable for the later TD4 (BMW) engine.
